The New Richland Area Historical Society is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and sharing the history of New Richland and the surrounding area. Located in New Richland, Minnesota, we help keep the stories of local families, businesses, schools, organizations, and community traditions from being lost over time.

Our goal is to safeguard the photos, documents, artifacts, and memories that reflect life in the New Richland area across generations. That includes collecting and caring for historical materials, helping identify people and places in older records, organizing items so they are easier to research, and sharing what we learn so residents, students, families, and visitors can better understand the roots of the community.
